COVID-19 Pandemic Appointment Protocols

Updated: Jun 4, 2020

We are thrilled to start treating again and are looking forward to seeing you! Online booking is open for June and July appointments. We will open subsequent months for pre-bookings soon.

Currently all RMTs are working on a reduced schedule to follow social distancing protocols. If you are unable to book with your regular therapist at this time please feel comfortable booking with any one of us! Pomegranate Grove is really excited to welcome Tanya Azzopardi, RMT joining Nadine, Evelyn, Dara, Louisa and Mairin! Carly will be returning to Pomegranate Grove later this summer.

Please note the following important information:

  • Masks : RMTs are required to wear surgical masks while treating and will have a fresh mask for each client. Clients must wear their own masks (cloth or surgical). Please bring your own from home, alternatively Pomegranate will have some on hand for a small fee.

  • Cleaning : We have allotted longer time between appointments to ensure all surface areas including massage tables, light switches, door handles etc. are sanitized. All cleaning products have been approved by Health Canada.

  • Social Distancing : For the time being, please come to your appointment alone and if possible remain in your car or outside until the time of your scheduled massage. We have removed all shared items from our lobby such a magazines and books and will be diligently sanitizing the common area. Contactless payment is also available. A general infection prevention and control log will be completed with each client/visitor. This will include a verbal pre-appointment screening for COVID-19 IN ADDITION TO THE ONLINE SCREENING THAT MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. We thank you for your compliance and understanding.

  • Pre-screening : We are required to do health screening on all clients 24 hours before your appointment which will be complete online through our software management system. PLEASE DO NOT come to your appointment if you are feeling unwell and cancel your appointment as soon as possible if you have any symptoms.  You will not be charged for a missed appointment if you are sick.

  • Washrooms : we have two washrooms (one is wheelchair accessible and both will be available for use. Our washrooms will be monitored after every appointment to ensure they are sanitized for the safety of our visitors.

  • Water : Unfortunately we are unable to provide water at this time for our clients. Please consider bringing your own water bottle as water is vital after a massage.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Stay well,

The team at Pomegranate Grove
